Announcing ...

... Baby Z!! We are so thrilled to have him in our family! It's strange to think that the doctors were so worried about how "small" he was (is a 7 lb. baby small? I thought it was just right), because he is chubbing up nicely these days. We love his pinchable thighs, his "froggy" smile, his chill personality, and the cute baby sounds he's finally making after a month or so of grunting around the clock. Poor guy has had a rough start struggling with reflux, which has made him super uncomfortable and unable to sleep well (hence why Mommy hasn't posted anything, since she hasn't been sleeping well, either!).

It is a whole new world with two -- one day we hope to make some sense of the chaos we live in at the moment. But we sure do love this new little guy and will try to share more pictures soon! I am especially excited to share many more of the photos my friend Heather Clark took, like the ones shown on this baby announcement she designed for us. She did a photo shoot for us in our home, and we are beyond thrilled with how they turned out (well, except that I feel a little sheepish that I ended up in so many of them -- not feeling so fabulous 10 days postpartum, but worth capturing some intimate family moments with our little newborn!).
